Rest in Peace

It is with a deep and profound sadness that Charlton Park RFC announce the passing of Victoria Casizzi following her long battle with Cancer.

Victoria has been associated with Charlton Park for the last two decades as first team physiotherapist, a social member and a supporter of our mini rugby section where children Oscar and Freya feature in our under nine and under seven sides respectively. she is married to former club captain Michael Casizzi who announced the death in a beautifully, moving tribute on his social media account on Sunday evening.

Michael said ‘Victoria, my world, my rock, died on 27th April after a long fight with cancer. She never 'lost' her battle... she fought so hard.. but the odds kept stacking up unfairly against her, she never got a break. She was my better half in every way. The greatest mum to Oscar and Freya, the best friend, wife , sister, daughter, colleague anyone could wish for. Incredibly brave, loving, funny, sassy and she kept organising everything right till the end.
You are going to leave a massive hole in so many peoples lives because you made such a huge impact on everyone who knew you. I'm absolutely broken. Rest in peace with no more pain.. the most beautiful person I've ever known.’

The entire Charlton Park family sends its collective love, support and sincerest condolences to Michael, Oscar and Freya and extends that to the entire Hampshire and Casizzi families.

No more pain. Rest in peace, Victoria
