Our first season in Counties 2 Kent kicks off on Saturday when we welcome Maidstone. KO is 3pm.

The league start comes hot on the heels of a successful warm-up match against Southwark on Saturday. The First XV look well-drilled and dominated comfortably for much of the match. They also put in some blinding tackles in defence.

It would be great to get as many of you as possible down for the first home game of the new season.

The following week we are away at Aylesford Bulls but on 10 October we are back at Broad Walk for our first VP lunch of the season. Let’s make this an event to remember. Please let me know as soon as possible that you are coming.

We will have a great three-course meal with wine on the table. We can cater for all diets if we are told in advance.
