Kent Rugby vs Hampshire Rugby Football Union

On Saturday 17 May 2025, Charlton Park host Kent vs Hampshire in round 1 of the 2024-25 Bill Beaumont Cup.

Kent are reigning champions following the win over Yorkshire last season. So they will be absolutely determined to ensure they progress in this year’s competition and keep hold of the crown.

It was a performance of epic proportions against Yorkshire and the Kent team deserve better support from the Kent Clubs. Please share this far and wide and let’s make it another day that everyone remembers.

We are expecting guests from all corners of the counties of Kent and Hampshire. If you are attending for the first time, we hope you find the following information helpful.

CAR PARKING:

There is ample on-site car parking and the parking charge will be a reasonable £5 per car. Please try to avoid parking on Broad Walk as this is likely to cause a problem for the local residents. Your co-operation will be greatly appreciated.

TRAVELLING BY CAR:

We are based at 60A Broad Walk, Kidbrooke, London. The post code for SatNavs is SE3 8NB.

For those driving from Hampshire, from the M25, use Junction 2 and follow the signs for Central London. Exit the East Rochester Way / A2 at the Kidbrooke turn, stay right, turn right at the lights, past Aldi, and head up Kidbrooke Park Road. Turn right onto Kidbrooke way (Opposite Thomas Tallis School) and Broad Walk is up on the left.

For those travelling from Kent, the M2 / A2 is the best way into Kidbrooke. We are also close to the A20, Blackwall Tunnel and the south Circular Road. You can access Kidbrooke Park Road from the A20.

TRAVELLING BY TRAIN:

The closest station is Kidbrooke and it’s approximately a 20 minute walk

Trains from London Charing Cross via London Bridge - 25 and 55 mins past the hour
Trains from London Cannon Street via London Bridge - 15 mins, 45 mins past the hour
Trains from Dartford via Bexleyheath - 23 mins, 53 mins past the hour

TRAVELLING BY LONDON UNDERGROUND:

Elizabeth Line to Woolwich Arsenal. 122, 161 Bus to Broad Walk. It’s approximately a 30 minute walk down Broad Walk. The ground is on the left. Or get a taxi.
Jubilee Line to North Greenwich. 132, 161 bus to Broad Walk

Route 286 from Greenwich Cutty Sark to Sidcup - Sort walk up Broad Walk
Route 132 from North Greenwich to Bexleyheath - Sort walk up Broad Walk
Route 161 from North Greenwich to Chislehurst - long walk down Broad Walk
Route 122 from Plumstead to Crystal Palace - long walk down Broad Walk
