Welcome to the First Home Clash of the Season!
Charlton Park RFC is proud to welcome the players, officials, and travelling supporters of Cranbrook RFC for our opening home fixture of the 2025–26 campaign. After a tough start away to Heathfield and Waldron, Park returns to familiar turf with renewed energy and a clear mission: rebuild, reconnect, and rise.
Last Week’s Lessons
Park’s 66–17 defeat to the Greenies was a bruising opener, exposing some early-season vulnerabilities but also highlighting flashes of promise. Cranbrook, too, will be looking to bounce back after a 26–5 home loss to a revitalised Deal & Betteshanger outfit. Both sides arrive hungry for redemption—and ready to lay down a marker.
Transformation in Progress
Supporters, we ask for your patience and passion. With a significant player exodus last season, this year is about laying foundations. New faces are learning the ropes, building chemistry, and embracing the club’s ethos. The theme this week: basics and physicality. Expect grit, heart, and a squad determined to grow together.
Home Turf, Fresh Energy
Training this week has been sharp, focused, and full of intent. The squad is buzzing for their first home hit-out, and with more players set to return from injury in the coming weeks, the momentum is building. Let’s hope the sun shines on Broad Walk as we kick off a new chapter.
