At the recent AGM, we discussed the challenges facing every club relating to the worrying decline in numbers of players and in membership generally.

When the 500 Club was introduced, we reached almost 500 members and the prize money was fixed accordingly. The cost of membership has remained low despite improvements to our facilities including a better equipped gym, provision of physio etc. Sadly, our membership has declined especially post COVID to the extent that the AGM felt it had no choice but to agree that the prizes awarded should be reduced in proportion to our membership.
New prizes will be a first prize of £150 and two additional prizes of £50.
We think this is still a great deal and would encourage you all to ask your friends and family to come to the Club , enjoy a beer, lunch and of course support the team. We are establishing more regular opening hours so come for a drink or a gym session.
Please also encourage your family and friends to become members of the club and support the exciting developments we have planned.
