…to quote our estimed tweeter after Saturday’s game! What happened there?

Well, it had been coming. Recent results have shown that, despite a pretty devastating injury and covid list, and the loss of over a dozen from the Barracks, all the players have shown that they are up for it and that is difficult when you know you are outgunned. Long-term injuries are beginning to recover and return, the appointment of Sam Howard is a step forward, but really we have to congratulate the team; the refusal to accept defeat as we bombarded the Broad Walk end was a reminder of past seasons. Just one result can have a big effect, particularly when it’s against a good team; Beckenham were generous in defeat and we hope they can get back into the top three likely to be promoted amidst the league rearrangements.

So please complete the survey and come to support the team in Saturday’s home game against Old Alleynians. It will mean a lot.
