If you are going on the coach (free to members) to London Cornish tomorrow, please be aware that it leaves the club at 11.00am prompt. If you’re late you’ll have to make your own way. Please also be aware that the ground and bar are 8 minutes apart by car. The coach will take the players first and then go to the clubhouse. Still some places, I’m told. Contact Nick Hollier.
Matches are played at:
Richardson-Evans Memorial Playing Fields
London SW15 3PQ
The car park entrance is directly off the A3 between the Kingston University building and the Robin Hood roundabout and can only be accessed travelling southbound on the A3.
There are changing facilities, toilets etc at the ground but no clubhouse (bar, catering) facilities.
The clubhouse is:
Roehampton Cricket Club
London SW15 3TU
Adjacent to the large car park accessed by keeping The Telegraph pub on your right. Plenty of parking available.
This is where the bar and kitchen is are and is the location for pre and post match festivities!
We will, of course, be showing the Ireland v England game which kicks off at 5.00 p.m.
The clubhouse is approx. 8 mins. drive from the ground.
The game will kick off at 2.00 p.m. to allow for possible extra time.
There will be no charge for admission, car parking or programmes.
There will be a presentation after the game to both winners and losers. The winners will go on to a home National Semi-Final against Swanage & Wareham or Truro on Easter Saturday! This was not organised for amateur clubs where players like to go on holiday or spend Easter at home with the family was it?
