Tony stands high in the club’s hall of fame. Since his passing last year there has been no time and place for us to celebrate his life and massive contribution to the club. The restart of rugby, and the visit of our great friends and rivals Dartfordians as our first home game, gives us the opportunity to meet. In addition to us at Charlton Park we hope to welcome Tony’s family, friends, work colleagues as well as the community from his other sporting love, wrestling.

We would like to put on a big display of photographs and newspaper cuttings as well as any written memories in the main hall, and would ask that you either email to info@charltonpark.org.uk or bring them to the club in the week prior to 25th so that we can have the display ready for the day.

There will be a buffet provided, mainly for family and guests travelling some distance.

We will continue to celebrate well into the night as Tony often did at the club.

Please pass the word around to others so that the turnout on the day is a fitting tribute to a wonderful man who did much to drive Charlton Park to the position it is in today.
